However, if you use dairy in your drink, you may notice a "skin" forming after the beverage has been in the mug for an extended period. This happens due to the fat content in the dairy staying at a high temperature. While it doesn’t affect the taste, you can easily scoop it off if preferred. To remove the “skin,” you can simply scoop it off once it appears.

For a smoother experience, using a frother or aerator to mix your dairy before adding it to your drink can also prevent this, giving your beverage a creamier texture and enhancing the taste. They can add air to your drink and can enhance the taste, especially when using creamers or milk. Rest assured, Ignaze maintains the integrity of your drink’s flavor while keeping it at your chosen temperature for hours. Enjoy your coffee or tea just the way you like it—Ignaze keeps your beverage warm and fresh without altering its natural flavors.

Your Ignaze Smart Mug comes with a Docking Coaster designed to charge the mug efficiently. To recharge your Ignaze Smart Mug, follow these steps for optimal performance. Start by connecting the Ignaze 12V power adapter into a standard 120-volt wall outlet. Then, plug the power cable into both the Docking Coaster and the Ignaze 12V power adapter. Make sure both the mug and the Docking Coaster are completely dry before placing the mug onto the coaster for charging to avoid any damage or malfunction.

Once fully charged, the Ignaze Smart Mug can maintain your selected temperature for more than an hour while undocked. For extended enjoyment, keep it on the Docking Coaster for continuous heating. The LED Display on the base of the mug will show the real-time charging status. As the battery charges, the Battery Life Indicator Bar will progressively fill up, similar to the battery indicator on your mobile devices. When fully charged, the entire bar will light up solid white.

The Ignaze Smart Mug does not come with a lid. This is because our design philosophy is focused on convenience—allowing you to enjoy your drink immediately without the hassle of constantly opening and closing a lid. However, if you prefer to use a lid, you’re welcome to test any lid that fits securely with our mug. While we don’t have any recommended brands or models, we advise ensuring the lid fits properly to avoid impacting your drinking experience. Please note, we haven’t tested external lids, so this would be at your discretion.

When placed on the charging coaster, the Ignaze Smart Mug will keep your drink warm indefinitely, providing continuous heat. Without the coaster, the heat duration depends on your selected temperature mode. 

• Warm (122°F / 50°C): Approximately 2 hours of warmth.
• Hot (131°F / 55°C): Approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
• Extra Hot (135°F / 57°C): Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
• Piping (145°F / 62.5°C): Approximately 1 hour.

Additionally, the COLD/Standby mode lets your drink naturally cool as if in a regular mug, offering a more traditional experience when desired.

Kindly note that the Auto-Standby is not activated the moment you finish your drink. Due to its sensitive liquid sensors, the mug may still expect more liquid to be poured or detect remnants. Auto-Standby begins only when the liquid has completely dried up and the mug is empty.

The Ignaze Smart Mug uses an intelligent Auto Standby Mode to ensure energy efficiency and longevity. Here’s how it works:

1. When Ignaze is ON and no liquid is present:  

   If Ignaze is powered on but no liquid is detected, it will wait for approximately a minute, anticipating that liquid will be added. If none is poured, the mug will automatically shift into Cold/Standby Mode. This ensures the temperature does not rise unnecessarily. However, be cautious, as the inside base of the mug can still become warm during this period. To conserve battery and for safety, we recommend manually turning off the mug if it's not being used.

2. When Ignaze is ON and liquid is present:  

   If liquid is present, Ignaze will automatically enter standby if the mug remains unmoved for more than an hour while docked. This timing allows the mug to maintain your beverage at the selected temperature for an extended period. If there are still small remnants of liquid, Ignaze will attempt to dry them by briefly increasing the temperature to evaporate any excess moisture. You’ll know the Auto-Standby feature is on if the temperature starts decreasing until it reaches <39°C (<102°F), indicated by the 3 bars on the right side of the display moving downwards. While the mug is cooling, remember the inside base may still be warm.

3. Auto-Standby vs. Auto-Off:  

   Auto-Standby helps conserve energy when the mug is inactive or no liquid is present. However, it is not the same as Auto-Off. To completely power off Ignaze, long press the base button after use. This is especially important for maintaining battery health when the mug is not in use.

Auto-Off will engage in rare instances, such as when the battery is low or if the mug’s internal components begin to get too warm during charging or extended use. This precautionary measure helps cool the device and protect its components without affecting performance.

The Ignaze Smart Mug comes equipped with a Lithium Powered, Intel LED Status Display Bar that shows real-time battery levels, helping you monitor your mug’s power efficiently. Here's how it works:

• Fully Charged: When your mug is at 100% battery, all the bars on the LED display will light up in full white (no blinking), indicating a full charge. This means your mug is ready for uninterrupted use, whether docked or undocked.
• Low Battery: As the battery level decreases, the bars will gradually turn off, leaving fewer bars illuminated. When the battery drops to 10%, the last bar will begin blinking, signaling that it's time to recharge the mug. Similar to your mobile phone's battery indicator, this blinking light serves as a clear visual cue to recharge and avoid disruptions in the mug’s heating functionality.
• Charging While Using: To charge and use the Ignaze Smart Mug simultaneously, the battery needs to be at 20% or higher. If the battery is lower than 20%, it is recommended to charge it first before using it on the Docking Coaster. For optimal performance, the higher the battery level, the better.
• Recommendations: Always recharge your Ignaze Smart Mug when you notice the battery is low. If the battery is nearly drained, the mug may struggle to maintain the set temperature, resulting in the heater turning on and off intermittently. For a consistent experience, it’s best not to let the battery fully deplete.

By keeping an eye on the Battery Life Indicator, you can ensure that your Ignaze mug is always ready to keep your drink at the perfect temperature without interruptions, even while the mug is charging!

• For the Ignaze Mug: Hand wash the mug with warm water and mild soap after every use. While the Ignaze Smart Mug is designed to be water-resistant, avoid submerging it in water for long periods. Always make sure the mug is completely dry before placing it back on the Charging Docking Coaster. This helps prevent moisture buildup, which could interfere with the charging process.
• For the Docking Coaster: Wipe down the Charging Docking Coaster with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it clean. It's essential to never let the coaster get wet, as it is not waterproof—think of it as you would treat your phone charger. Any moisture could damage the connectivity between the mug and the docking station, so always ensure both the coaster and mug are fully dry before use.
