How to Select any of the 5 Adjustable Temperature Modes?
To power on the Ignaze Smart Mug, press and hold the base button for 2 seconds, or simply place it on the charging coaster for auto-activation. To adjust the temperature, press the base button once for each setting, cycling through the following options:
- First press: 122°F (50°C - Warm)
- Second press: 131°F (55°C - Hot)
- Third press: 135°F (57°C - Extra Hot)
- Fourth press: 145°F (62.5°C - Piping)
- Fifth press: COLD/Standby Mode
When you power on your Ignaze, it will greet you with a friendly "HELLO," and when shutting down, it will bid you "GOOD BYE," adding a personalized touch. For optimal battery health, after you finish drinking it's recommended to long-press the base button for 3 seconds to power it off.
Always ensure your Ignaze Smart Mug is fully charged by checking the Lithium Status Display Bar—when the bar is full, the battery is at 100%. Once powered on, press the button again to select your desired temperature. Heating will begin when the animated bars on the left side of the display light up, confirming that your beverage is being warmed.
This process is quick and intuitive, giving you control over your perfect temperature setting with just a few taps. In summary: turn your Ignaze on, and single press the base button to select (mode 1) 122°F, (mode 2) 131°F, (mode 3) 135°F, (mode 4) 145°F or (mode 5) COLD/Standby temperature modes.
Why do I need to use the designated Ignaze 12V Power Adapter and USB-C Cable?
For your Ignaze Smart Mug to charge and function as it should, it’s a requirement to use your Ignaze smart mug with its designated 12V Power Adapter and 3.3 ft USB-C Cable provided in the premium packaging. This premium adapter is designed to provide consistent power for continuous heating. While another adapter could work, it must meet the 12V output and be made from high-quality materials to prevent overheating. It’s normal for the Ignaze adapter to warm up slightly during charging, but it won’t overheat.
The USB to USB-C Cable included in Ignaze’s packaging is specially designed to work optimally with your Ignaze Smart Mug. Its unique length of 3.3 ft helps ensure it delivers the correct power from the 12V adapter to the charging coaster and the mug itself. Using our cable is essential for ensuring proper charging and functionality. While we can’t guarantee how other cables are built, ours is designed with top-quality materials and advanced technology to provide reliable, safe charging. How do you activate the Ignaze mug's heating function, and what do the display indicators mean?
To activate your Ignaze smart mug's heating function:
- Turn on the mug by pressing and holding the power button.
- Press the button once to cycle through temperature options: 122°F (50°C), 131°F (55°C), 135°F (57°C), 145°F (62.5°C) & Cold (Standby).
- Stop at your desired temperature setting.
- Ignaze will automatically begin heating your beverage.
- Look for the animation bars on the left of the temperature display—this indicates the mug is heating up. If you don't see the bars, simply reselect your preferred temperature to ensure the heating process is active.
What the animation bars mean:
- Upward Animation Bars: These bars on the left side of the temperature display show the mug is actively heating your drink to the selected temperature. The heating process automatically starts once a temperature is chosen, ensuring your drink reaches the perfect warmth.
- Downward Animation Bars: If the temperature of your beverage exceeds the set level, downward animation bars appear, indicating that the mug is letting your drink cool down naturally. While this doesn’t mean ignaze has a cooling feature, this occurs if your beverage's temperature exceeds the chosen setting.
- If you don't see the left upward animation for heating, simply reselect your desired temperature.
Important notes:
- The mug starts heating immediately after temperature selection; no additional activation is required.
- The downward animation is not a cooling feature; it simply indicates the mug is letting the drink cool naturally.
- The display will show the current temperature of your beverage, updating in real-time.
For optimal performance, ensure your Ignaze mug is charged and that your beverage doesn't exceed the maximum fill line to avoid getting your charging dock coaster wet. By keeping an eye on the animation bars, you can be sure that your Ignaze Smart Mug is working as intended to maintain your perfect drink temperature.
Can I switch between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C) ?
Yes, switching between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C) is quick and easy! Simply double-press the button on the base of your Ignaze Smart Mug while the mug is turned off. The display will instantly toggle between the two temperature scales, allowing you to choose the temperature scale that suits your preference. You can switch back and forth between °F and °C using the same steps anytime you like.
Tip:
For the best experience, we recommend making sure your Ignaze mug is turned off before switching between °F and °C. This ensures a smooth transition and helps the mug calibrate to the new setting.
